The term 'neuroqueer' was coined by Dr. Nick Walker in 2008 as a verb: neuroqueering as the practice of queering (subverting, defying, disrupting, liberating oneself from) neuronormativity and heteronormativity simultaneously.

I love the term as a queer and neurodivergent artist. This rainbow brain is my homage to Dr. Walker's writing.
